• Located in the alpine region of Kremmling, Colorado, this exterior cantilevered deck, located just under the 9,000-foot elevation mark, overlooks the Sleeping Indian formation in the Rocky Mountains. With expansive views to the south overlooking the 2.1-million-acre White River National Forest, the overlook is strategically positioned at the edge of a 200-foot cliff on private land near the Blue River and Green Mountain Reservoirs. The Client was interested in the idea of creating a dramatic gathering place for guests to experience the spectacular cliff edge and sweeping mountain views. Thus, a cantilevered pedestrian deck supported via concrete structure and steel frame perched at the cliff edge was born.
