Colorado Academy Upper School
Colorado Academy Upper School is a two-story classroom focused learning environment designed to provide educational spaces for 21st-century learning. The design of the building centered around the idea of creating informal interaction spaces and areas for out of classroom learning. In order to achieve this, the typical double-loaded locker-lined corridor found in education buildings was fractured apart to create a two-story atrium-like space with countertop height lockers lining the middle of the space to create impromptu learning opportunities.
