Cliff House Overlook

Located in the alpine region of Kremmling, Colorado, this exterior cantilevered deck, located just under the 9,000-foot elevation mark, overlooks the “Sleeping Indian” formation in the Rocky Mountains and is built at the edge of a 200-foot cliff near the Blue River and the Green Mountain Reservoir. The Client came to us with the idea to create a dramatic gathering place for guests to experience the spectacular cliff edge and views from the property. This vision and these goals were achieved by developing a cantilevered pedestrian deck supported by a concrete structure and steel frame located at the cliff edge. With expansive views to the south, the project is located on 70 acres of private land and is situated near the 2.1-million-acre White River National Forest, which means it is ideally located and strategically positioned for remote viewing of a wide variety of wildlife.
